If there’s one thing we aren’t around here, it’s basic. At TFE, we are firm believers that you can have an elegant wedding while also thinking outside of the box. We execute elegant weddings with a twist through intentional color palette selection, unique arrangements, and oddities. If there is one thing we have up our sleeve to elevate venues, it’s our ceremony installations! These structures and installations are often the focal point of the venue, besides the couple of course, and can transform any bland space into an elaborate, elegant wedding.
Installations are not one size fits all. They take on tons of different shapes and sizes and today we’re breaking down all of the ceremony installation styles available here at TFE.
First up, we have the classic circle or “moongate” structure! If you follow me on social media, then you’ve probably seen this one plenty of times on my feed. The versatility of this structure is unreal, and it leads to some pretty incredible wedding installations!
Looking for an archway, but tired of the traditional circle? The arch is the perfect alternative. It’s shape allows for unique flower arrangements, and it’s minimalist design really lets the flowers take the front seat.
The only word I have to describe organic floral columns at a ceremony – MAGICAL. The arrangement almost appears to be floating while framing direct focus on the couple (as if they need help). I love the way this style brings the attention where it belongs.
Heart themed wedding anyone? This structure was custom built for a 2022 Valentine’s wedding, and I can’t wait to use it in future events! If you’re looking for love to be your focal point, then this is the perfect structure for you!
Candelabras just scream elegant. The candles combined with the flowers set the mood just right. The textural build of these structures made for a perfect background piece!
Okay, I have to admit, I’m actually obsessed with the look of these transparent columns. The best part about using this type of structure is being able to create a multidimensional look with different heights of columns. You can make this style as big and bold or small and dainty as you want.
Mantle’s were made for florals if you ask me. This long run of florals is the perfect use of space if you have a mantle (or something similar to one). I love incorporating various florals to create the a larger than life piece like the photo shown here!
Hanging arrangements have been popular in the last few years, so I’m sure you’ve seen them IRL at weddings you’ve attended. Hanging wedding installations are a great way to bring the focus to a certain area of the room. They’re also a great option if you don’t want to worry about having structures behind you during the ceremony.
There you have it, 7 ways to create floral installments that are elegant AND unique. I would tell you my favorite, but I don’t think I could ever choose. I love ALL of these options for different reasons, and I’m sure whichever one you go with for your wedding will be fabulous too!
