Alex and Wilder’s wedding was one FOR. THE. BOOKS.
Talk about bursts of color and brightness. Let’s get right into the rundown of their special day!
The newlyweds chose an outdoor venue for their ceremony, which brought in all the natural light. Artspace 111 in Fort Worth was a great venue choice, as the space blends a contemporary style with an outdoor space! As I’ve mentioned before, it’s so important to have vendors that work together well – Our blooms POPPED with this background and @opalonyxphotography captured everything beautifully!
Alex and Wilder’s main ceremony installation was centered around this beautiful tree, and I was thrilled to include elements of tulle and iridescent fringe curtains along with their blooms. I love creating show stopping installations, but integrating those installations with nature really takes it to a whole new level. Alex’s elegant and simple wedding gown blended beautifully with the pops of color all around.
We chose roses, dyed carnations, gerber daisies and delphinium for the day because these brought out all the iridescent elements. Talk about rainbow vibes galore. With all these bright colors, the next task was making them blend together seamlessly! Pro tip: when blending a wide mix of colors, I always use the same saturation level of color! Each bloom was a medium version of its kind- medium pink, medium orange, and so on! The coordinating levels of saturation helped take this color palette to a whole new level.
Overall, I had so much fun working on this lovely day with Alex and Wilder. It was great from the beginning to the end- like, can we just talk about the confetti walk-off real quick!?
Regardless of what type of color palette or ceremony you’re looking for, I’d love to be a part of your special day. I have booking available throughout 2023!
