Dreaming of a wedding that’s the perfect fall combo, but still incredibly romantic and timeless? Then it’s time to shine the spotlight on one of my most recent events, Hannah and Dustyn’s wedding.
But first, you have to hear about this venue. BRIK is a premiere wedding venue in Fort Worth, Texas. With a industrial design and modern touches, it’s the perfect combination for a couple who wants elevated Texas vibes! We have worked with this venue several times over the past few years, and the first thing I noticed when I walked through the door was the stunning original brick walls and wood floors. They shine by themselves, so it’s important to create floral that compliment the unique space.
Special note: For my animal lovers, there’s one more thing that I have to mention… BRIK also allows your furry friends to be there on your special day! How sweet!
“We wanted something that would compliment the venue. Brik is rustic and very romantic! We wanted the flowers to reflect that. The venue also reflected who Dustyn and I are as people, he’s a little bit country and I loved that we were able to have things that really fit who we are. I knew I always wanted color and Taylor was able to help me pin down a color palette that went with the fall season but stayed with our electric romantic theme.”
For Hannah and Dustyn, we went with big chunky red roses, daintier pink roses, deep purple chrysanthemums, carnations, queen annes lace, amaranthus, and lots of greenery. The dark color palette really brought out the fall vibes that Hannah was looking for!
“Taylor and team blew all our expectations out of the water but our favorite part was our ceremony backdrop and tablescapes. I showed Taylor a picture and it was even better than I pictured!”
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you’re looking to completely transform your wedding venue with just one item, I recommend a hanging floral installation. For Hannah + Dustyn, we opted for one singular arrangement in the middle of the room, which proves that less is totally more. Not only do they make a great backdrop for your photos, but they add a special touch to your wedding that’s unique to you!
One of my other favorite elements from Hannah + Dustyn’s day was their colored glassware. The green glasses gave the tablescape the pop of color that brought the whole look together.
“I cannot recommend the floral eclectic enough! The flowers she chose were so beautiful, they were by far my favorite part of our wedding decor!”
