Dallas’ Best Event Vendors Celebrate With Kay and Tay Dudley
Designing florals for Ellie’s first birthday party was an absolute delight! Hosted by Kay and Tay Dudley, the Dallas-based influencer duo behind @kayandtayofficial, the event was a beautiful, whimsical celebration that brought together an incredible team of talented vendors. From charming details to joyful moments, this party was one for the books. Let me take you behind the scenes of this magical day and highlight the amazing creatives who made it all happen.
The Vision
Ellie’s party was planned by the incredible team at The Collective Creative Co. (@thecollectivecreativeco), who envisioned a whimsical, pink wonderland. The goal was to create a space that felt playful yet elegant, filled with thoughtful details to celebrate this milestone. As the florist, my job was to bring the design to life with lush, vibrant blooms that complemented the theme and enhanced the overall atmosphere.
The Florals
At The Floral Eclectic (@thefloraleclectic), we crafted floral arrangements that felt light, fun, and colorful. The florals in this setup beautifully complement the pink theme of the party, enhancing its delicate and whimsical atmosphere. Soft pink roses, peonies, and spray roses are paired with white ranunculus and lisianthus, creating an elegant balance of tones. Accents of light greenery add subtle contrast while maintaining the overall pastel palette. These blooms, artfully arranged in clear vases, echo the romantic, storybook vibe of the decor. Their placement along the table and on the bookshelves draws the eye while tying together the soft pink hues of the balloons, walls, and tableware. This cohesive use of florals brings a fresh and lively dimension to the party’s aesthetic.

The Details
The venue was adorned with a pastel balloon installation by Balloon Therapy, setting the tone for the party. Glo Party and Co. provided a stunning backdrop that served as the focal point for photos and activities. Guests loved the interactive DIY bookmark station by Kulgra, which added a personalized touch to the celebration.
Love of Character designed the playful paper goods, while Lucky Seven Creations supplied charming tables and chairs that perfectly suited the theme. And let’s not forget the incredible desserts by Caked by Shef—almost too pretty to eat (but we couldn’t resist)!
The bounce house by DFW Confetti Bounce kept the littlest partygoers entertained, while custom books from The Collective Creative Co. and Mon Sherri Ink served as memorable party favors. Ellie’s adorable party hat and highchair banner from Crafting by Night were the cherry on top of this picture-perfect day.
Designing the florals for Ellie’s first birthday party was an absolute joy.
