Wow, what a year 2021 was! Looking back, it’s crazy to see how many incredible couples we worked with in just one short year. Trying to narrow down to just a few favorites for this blog was so freaking hard. Every couple I’ve worked with has been amazing, and I’ve gotten to create some incredible pieces! But without further ado, here are a few of TFE’s most beloved weddings of 2021. Enjoy!

Molly & Dom

When Molly & Dom came to me, and told me they trusted me to execute their vision, it was the best feeling ever. Dom loves music, and Molly wanted “60’s groovy vibes, but make it pink”. Their vision was one that gave me so much creative freedom to do what I do best. Not to mention the non-floral elements I got to incorporate in the decor!

There are no words to describe how incredible working on this project was. The wildest part though? We did this all in a two month timeline! This wedding was a dream, and I’m so grateful for Molly & Dom!

The Corey’s

This is actually the first of TWO ceremonies I’m designing for the Corey’s. They had a very intimate wedding this past year, and then are throwing a huge party this coming year to celebrate with everyone they love.

If I could describe this wedding in one word, it would be fruity! The designs were bold, beautiful, and incorporated many non-floral elements that let the flowers really pop. This wedding truly shows you don’t have to stay in the traditional floral box. Anything is possible with a little design and creativity!

Tiffany & Hardin

Tiffany & Hardin’s first note was that they wanted their day to be the most memorable wedding her friends had ever been to. Tiffany really also wanted to bring in a lot of color, but to make sure to include red to tie in with her Korean heritage and surprise dragon dance!

They hoped for lots of airy blooms, lots of shapes and unique elements. That’s why we went with the color palette we did! I used Scandinavian inspired bud vases and candle holders and sourced blooms that were bright, poppy, and colorful.

Fun fact: Tiffany & Hardin actually had two ceremonies. One traditional western ceremony and one Korean to incorporate both cultures into their day. Every moment of working with them, from consult to installation was a dream!

Vinent & Kelley

This wedding was one of the most anticipated of the year, mainly because it had been postponed due to Covid. Originally it was scheduled for October, and the theme Kelley gave me was, “If Anthropologie was a spooky bitch”. So I took it and ran… until I couldn’t, thanks to the world.

When the wedding got rescheduled, we went back to the drawing board and tweaked some of the design to fit the new season. We added in some light blooms, and fresh moss, but still kept the overall moody feel.

Vincent & Kelleys design featured an archway installation full of big blooms and greenery, and centerpieces made of cloches and moody candles. It was so fun bringing their vision to life!

Looking back, these most beloved weddings were just a snippet of what this year held. I’m so grateful for all 2021 has brought to TFE, and I know 2022 is going to be just as incredible! Thank you to all the incredible couples out there who have trusted me with your vision. It really is a dream come true.
