The weather is getting cooler (well, not quite yet here in Texas) and the leaves are starting to fall, which means it’s time for an autumn floral flashback. I’ve played with quite a few fall florals by now (say that ten times fast), and I want to share some of my favorites with you all!

Kicking it off is the Meija wedding. I have to say- these arrangements were iconic, but the story behind them is even better. I literally collected fallen leaves from the Dallas Zoo to use as stems for this wedding. Like, I RAN out of the zoo with them under my shirt. Talk about dedication to the vision right there😂 These blooms were eye-catching and brought allll the warmth. We made sure to keep saturation while highlighting amber tones, and the blooms just scream cozy and happy. 

This next feature was an eclectic assortment that worked together SO beautifully. For this wedding I combined Chocolate Sunflowers, Cosmos, Ranunculus, Dahlias, and Zinnias. The colors really blended nicely with amber glass and pink tones, plus the wide variety of flower kinds made these arrangements full of texture and movement for the eye. I love sharing this as an example of what the possibilities can be with unique floral combinations! 

Seasonal flowers are always a fun addition to weddings. They not only save you money, but can always scream the season of your choice. For this next fall favorite, I made sure to highlight Celosias, Chrysanthemums, and Dahlias as the center point of the evening. Another special thing about this wedding was that it highlighted the distinct color palette you picture when fall comes to mind-  toasty autumn vibes galore. Check out those subtle pops of muted purples and greens! They made for beautiful detail touches in the arrangements.🤩 You guys know I’m obsessed with color- so I’m totally not one to sacrifice it even when fall palettes are usually more muted! We tend to keep it vibrant around here.  

Pro floral tip: If you’re wanting to achieve a cohesive look with florals that don’t naturally grow in your desired color palette, painted foliage could be a great option for you! Keep the unique textures of your blooms without sacrificing the perfect color palette.
