Colored glassware has become a HUGE trend in 2023, especially in the wedding industry. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever loved a trend more. Placing unique colored flutes, coupes, wine glasses, etc. on your wedding table scapes is a small, yet powerful way to tie in your wedding theme and color palette. This small touch brings a more thoughtful, elevated touch to your tables capes and compliments floral arrangements so well!
I LOVE funky and colorful glassware. Colored glassware is so fun and gives you an opportunity to add personal taste into a part of a wedding that tends to be boring (plates and glasses).
Let’s chat about my favorite glassware staples for wedding table scapes.
Coupes are a wide and shallow glass that makes the perfect vessel for holding signature cocktails on your big day. Check out these colored glass coupes for your wedding table scape inspiration!
Wine anyone? Ditch the classic clear glass (or plastic) wine glasses and opt for colorful or vintage style pressed goblet-style glasses. Here’s some inspiration!
Colored tapered candles are another huge 2023 wedding trend and for good reason. You can get super creative with glass candle holders (scroll to see what I mean). I’m all about bringing color into a wedding day, and this is one tasteful way to do just that!
This may be a hot take, but if you’ve hired a florist or wedding planner, don’t source your own hard goods (e.g. glasses, candle sticks/holders).
As fun as it can be to browse Amazon or go thrift store hopping for these items, be sure to collaborate with your florist and/or wedding planner to get a game plan in place before you do that. Most of the time, your florist will source hard goods for you because they know exactly what they need (+ don’t need) for your desired look!
Leaving this part of the process in the hands of your florist will save you lots of time and money because you won’t be buying hard goods that your florist won’t end up using.
Speaking of glassware… If you couldn’t tell by now, I’m OBSESSED. So obsessed to the point where I opened my own glassware shop, The Eclectic Shop!
