Your florals should say something about you. Monochrome is beautiful, but if it doesn’t feel like you, it’ll never feel right.

I’d never go all white. Color brings emotion and depth. A bold palette adds personality to your floral story.

5. Letting Ceremony Flowers Go to Waste
Repurpose! I’d design my wedding florals to move from ceremony to reception with ease. Why double the budget when you can double the impact?

Seasonal = fresher, more affordable, and more beautiful. I’d work with what nature is doing best at the time.
7. DIY-ing the Florals
It sounds fun… until it’s 2 AM and you’re panicking over wilting stems. Leave the stress to the pros.
8. Letting Trends Dictate Everything
Trends come and go. I’d focus on timeless choices that still feel true to me—even if they’re not all over Instagram.
9. Overcrowding the Reception Tables
There’s a fine line between lush and cramped. A good wedding floral design creates space for beauty and conversation.

A skilled floral team is everything. They’ll bring your dream to life and troubleshoot before problems even arise.
