If you were wondering how to capture The Floral Eclectic into one production, well, you’ve come to the right place! I’d been wanting a refresher on my branding photos for a minute now, and what better way to do that than to get together with some other creatives and put on a huge styled shoot of citrus, greens, and botanical goodness.
If you keep up with me on Instagram, you’d know I spent the month of July taking some time off, and also recently shared some of my thoughts on “hustle culture.” (You can find the post about that HERE) I had like, wayyyyy too many more thoughts to squeeze into a caption, so here’s the official brain dump.
It’s July which means 2022 is HALFWAY OVER. With another amazing year zipping bye, I wanted to share some of my absolute favorite weddings from this year so far. JAMIE AND PAUL’S BACKYARD WEDDING This day was nothing short of wholesome. The intimacy of the backyard setup, the beautiful color palette, and the banner detail […]
They say everything’s bigger in Texas, so Amy and Hunter decided to add BOLD and BRIGHT to the mix! Talk about alliteration. The vibes were luxurious and classic, yet eye-catching and stylish. I loved combining the styles and being a part of this day! Their beautiful day started at First United Methodist Church in Fort […]
If there’s one thing we aren’t around here, it’s basic. At TFE, we are firm believers that you can have an elegant wedding while also thinking outside of the box.
We execute elegant weddings with a twist through intentional color palette selection, unique arrangements, and oddities. If there is one thing we have up our sleeve to elevate venues, it’s our ceremony installations! These structures and installations are often the focal point of the venue, besides the couple of course, and can transform any bland space into an elaborate, elegant wedding.
Working with Michele + Ryan was a dream come true. Their wedding took place at the Old Frankford Church, nestled in historic North Dallas. The community that the church was originally a part of dates back to the 1850s, and it has been restored in more recent years. When I saw the rich mahogany inside the building, I knew that the colors needed to be bold in order to pop.
2021 was a wild year for weddings. One of last year’s trends I loved was the fruit trend! I saw so many couples incorporating fruit into their floral, and it brought out a whole new level of creativity in me! While I loved some of them, such as the fruit, there were also a few that I’m ready to leave behind.
So as we’re into the first part of 2022, I thought it was time to break down some of the wedding trends I see unfolding this calendar year. Let’s dive in!
Wow, what a year 2021 was! Looking back, it’s crazy to see how many incredible couples we worked with in just one short year. Trying to narrow down to just a few favorites for this blog was so freaking hard. Every couple I’ve worked with has been amazing, and I’ve gotten to create some incredible pieces!
Congrats, you’re engaged! This is one of the most exciting seasons of your life, and you deserve to soak up every moment of it… but then the wedding planning comes into play. How do you know if you’re booking the right vendor? What information should you have mapped out before you meet? While a wedding planner can help with a lot of this, I want to make sure you’re prepared on the floral side.
