Trends move fast, but flowers are timeless. While we’re only part way through spring, that hasn’t stopped me from dreaming about what I see trending over the summer, and throughout this wedding season. So without further ado, here are my trend predictions for the rest of 2023!
Gone are the days of the majority of couples having neutral, boho weddings. Over the last few months my inbox has been filled with inquiries full of bright color palettes, and I’m loving it! Not only am I allergic to Pampas, but I believe every couple should have wedding decor that reflects who they are as a couple! Not everyone is meant to have a neutral wedding, and I’m predicting even more bright colors throughout the next year. Here are a few color palettes I’ve been loving!
I’ve always believed that bigger is better when it comes to wedding floral, but more and more couples are embracing the same motto! I love how many couples are options for ceremony pieces, hanging installations, and extravagant reception decor. If you’re leaning toward a more extravagant day in terms of floral, know that you’re not alone! Below are some of my favorites from the last few months!
Along with stepping into extravagance and color, I’m also seeing couples choosing holidays for their wedding day! Personally, I’m all for this trend as I’m holiday obsessed. Not only do holidays provide a casual theme to design your day around, but they make for an extra special anniversary! (P.S. If you’re thinking of booking a Halloween or Christmas Wedding this year, hit me up!) I’m excited to see the themes and designs that come from these weddings this year.
I’ve noticed a rise in tapered candles over the last year, but lately it’s all been about color! Less couples are wanting black or white, and I’m getting to incorporate some really fun, bright candles into tablescapes.
Pantone’s color of the year was Vivid Magenta, and I firmly believe this has fueled the resurgence of pink in weddings! I think pink has gotten a bad rap over the years, but it can totally be done in a classic and elegant way. (Or over the top if that’s what you’re going for!) I predict a lot more pink as the year goes on, and I’m hoping we even see some of that pink headed into the Christmas season.
While a few of these trends are no surprise based on social media this year, I’m sure a few others might come as a surprise! Do you have any predictions on what this year could hold? Tap on over to my Instagram and join the conversation!
