A bright color palette can be classy, elegant, and stunning– take it from Grace and Dillon’s art deco wedding.
Grace and Dillon tied the knot in January, but their wedding gave all the spring feels and I loved it.
The day started at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dallas, TX, then the party moved to The Carlisle Room. We had 1920s, springy, modern, and art deco vibes going which made it such a fun wedding to bring some TFE magic into!
Let’s start with the main attraction of the reception hall– the floral carpet. A floral carpet is just what it sounds like. A floral install that starts on the wall, and then spreads out onto the floor, just like a carpet! Think: cascading waterfall, but make it flowers. I had created my first floral carpet at the beginning of the year and it was a great creative challenge!
We incorporated small floral carpets on the head table to tie in the art deco inspired installation. Plus, the head table was finished with candles and brass vases to hold the monochromatic bridesmaids bouquets (which were so cute and I haven’t seen much of)!
We finished the guest tables with gorgeous brass hard goods, ornate framed table numbers, candles, and colorful flower arrangements to compliment the floral carpet installation.
Getting to be a part of the team for Grace + Dillon’s day was a joy and a creative challenge and quite frankly, I can’t ask for much more!
Are you thinking you NEED a floral carpet installation at your wedding or event? You’re probably right! I’d love to hear your vision and see how we can work together. Fill out this form and let’s get the conversation started!
