There’s something about getting on a plane, heading somewhere new, and creating something beautiful in a place I’ve never worked before that feels incredibly exciting to me. I’ve always loved to travel, so expanding The Floral Eclectic into more destination weddings feels like a natural next step.

Being a traveling wedding florist allows me to combine two things I genuinely love: floral design and exploring new places. I get to meet couples from different parts of the country, experience new venues, discover different landscapes, and design wedding flowers that feel completely connected to the location and the couple.

I’ve Never Wanted to Do Things the Same Way

One of the things I love most about floral design is that no two weddings are ever exactly alike. A destination wedding takes that even further.

Designing for a wedding somewhere new means I’m not just thinking about the couple’s vision. I’m thinking about the architecture of the venue, the surrounding landscape, the season, the local flowers, the light, and the overall feeling of the destination.

A wedding in the mountains should feel different from a wedding on the coast. A celebration in a historic city should have a completely different personality from one at a desert venue.

That’s what makes destination weddings so fun to me. The location becomes another part of the design.

I Love to Travel, So Why Not Combine the Two?

Travel has always been something I’ve enjoyed. There’s so much inspiration that comes from simply being somewhere different.

I love seeing how people live in different places, finding little shops and restaurants, wandering through neighborhoods, looking at architecture, and noticing the colors and textures that naturally exist in a new environment. Even when I’m not intentionally looking for design inspiration, I’m constantly noticing things.

A tile pattern. A vintage storefront. A weird little color combination. A garden overflowing with flowers. A restaurant with the coolest lighting.

All of those things end up living somewhere in my creative brain.

So getting to travel for weddings feels like the best combination of my personal interests and my work as a designer.

Destination Weddings Give Me Room to Create

I’ve always been drawn to weddings that feel personal rather than overly formulaic. I don’t want to take one floral recipe and recreate it for every couple.

I want to know what makes your wedding yours.

Maybe that means designing an incredible floral installation for a destination venue. Maybe it’s incorporating unexpected flowers or colors. Maybe it’s creating tablescapes that make your guests stop and take photos before they even sit down.

I love working with couples who want to do something a little different and trust me to bring the creative side of their wedding to life.

From Texas to Wherever the Flowers Take Me

The Floral Eclectic may be based in Dallas, but I never want geography to limit the kind of work I get to create.

I’m excited about expanding into more destination weddings and getting to work in new cities, new venues, and new environments.
